Fortinet ประกาศเปิดตัว FortiGate 80F Series ตอบโจทย์การใช้งานทั้ง Next-generation Firewall และ Secure SD-WAN สำหรับธุรกิจขนาดกลางและสำนักงานสาขาโดยเฉพาะ มาพร้อมกับชิป ASIC SOC4 ที่ผสานรวม RISC-based CPU และ Security Processing Unit (SPU) เข้าด้วยกันเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพด้าน Secure SD-WAN ให้ถึงขีดสุด
FortiGate 80F Series เป็นอุปกรณ์ฮาร์ดแวร์ขนาดกระทัดรัด ครอบคลุมการใช้งานทั้ง Next-generation Firewall และ Secure SD-WAN รองรับการเชื่อมต่อ 3G/4G USB Modem และมีโมดูล Wi-Fi และ PoE ในตัว ประกอบด้วย 2x GE RJ45/SFP Shared Media Ports และ 8x GE RJ45 Ports นอกจากนี้ยังมี Bypass Interface เพื่อป้องกันทราฟฟิกหยุดชะงักเมื่ออุปกรณ์มีปัญหาอีกด้วย
