Avast เตรียมคุมกิจการผู้ให้บริการด้านตัวตน SecureKey

Avast ได้ประกาศว่า ตั้งใจจะซื้อบริษัทผู้ให้บริการด้านข้อมูลตัวตนและการยืนยันดิจิตอล SecureKey Technologies โดยยังไม่มีการเปิดเผยตัวเลข ซึ่งผลิตภัณฑ์ของ SecureKey ออกแบบมาเพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการบริการการเข้าถึงบริการออนไลน์ต่างๆ โดยคุมไม่ให้มีการเปิดเผยข้อมูลผู้ใช้มากกว่าที่จำเป็น

ตัวอย่างเช่น Verified.Me ที่ใช้เครือข่ายยืนยันตัวตนดิจิตอลแบบกระจายพื้นที่จาก SecureKey เพื่อใช้มาตรการด้านความปลอดภัยระดับสูงเหมือนธนาคารสำหรับป้องกันการโจรกรรมหรือปลอมแปลงตัวตน

ข้อมูลธนาคารของผู้ใช้จะไม่สามารถเข้าถึงได้ผ่าน Verified.Me ซึ่งรวมถึงรหัสผ่านที่ใช้เข้าระบบออนไลน์ของธนาคารด้วย นอกจากนี้ยังมีฟีเจอร์ Government Sign-In by Verified.Me ที่พัฒนาสำหรับแอพพลิเคชั่นของภาครัฐโดยเฉพาะ

โดยสร้างความง่ายในการเข้าถึงทั้งบริการและแอพพลิเคชั่นแบบ E-Government เรียกความสามารถนี้ว่า ‘Triple Blind’ ที่ฝังมาพร้อมกับเครื่องมือที่ใช้เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าไม่มีใคร แม้แต่สถาบันการเงิน หน่วยงานรัฐบาล หรือผู้ให้บริการเครือข่าย สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงข้อมูลต้นกำเนิดของการลงทะเบียนได้
